Meijo University - Tempaku Campus — Attraction in Nagoya

Wonderful campus location. I visited there to know the graduate admission requirements. They have an entrance exam system for foreign students admission but the test will be taken in the Japanese language here's the problem. I think the authority should consider foreign students admission with an interview only or they can take the written admission test in English. 図書館についてだけ言います。学外者の利用について、冊数が2冊までと言うのはあまりにも少ない。例えば南山大学は5冊までだし、名古屋学院大学も5冊まで借りられる。それから試験期間中ということで、7月と1月は全面的に学外者は利用禁止になっているが、これも南山大学などは、本を返却したり、借りるだけの短時間利用については、試験期間中も可能にしていたりして、名城大学はあまりにも厳しすぎる。それから図書館員の対応がやはり非常に官僚的で「学外者は規則守れよ」と言う姿勢が際立っている。一応市民に開かれているような格好だけしてるけど、実際は全然開かれていない。もう少しそうした姿勢を改めるべきだと思う。 最後に、そうした姿勢は、図書館利用証を作るのに顔写真が必要だとしている点にも現れている。そんなことを要求するのは名...
