近年元気が無いヴィレヴァンの始まりの地。 時代に合わせて店舗展開していったら逆に衰退してしまったのは皮肉というか… 勢いのあった90年代のスタイルを貫いていたら良かったのかも…結果論だが。

私は名古屋に住んでいた時はこちらの本店と名駅にあった生活創庫内にテナントで入っていたヴィレヴァンを併用して利用していた。 当時は西区に住んでいたので、ぶっちゃけ本店は遠くて行くのが大変だったのだが、近くに友人のノブちゃんが下宿していたのでよく地下鉄で行ったのだ。

私の記憶が確かなら、生活創庫のヴィレヴァンは漫画等の書籍類が豊富で、本店は雑貨類や映画関係が強かった気がする。

当時は買取なのか委託なのか、よく分からない物がたくさん売られていた。 スタッフが自作したであろうホイ三兄弟の『インベーダー作戦』のTシャツが天井から吊るしてあり、「アレ欲しいから取って下さい」と頼んだら「ホントに良いんですか？買うんですか？」と聞かれた。 そしてそのTシャツは数回洗濯したらマイケル・ホイのプリントは消えてただの白Tになってしまったのも良い思い出！
