Love this museum, it is FREE! no need to pay for entrance fee and easy to reach there using subway&bus (Nagoya Daigaku station). Eventhough it is small but the exhibition are full of information. Not many people even on weekends. and the place is on top cleanliness. Really appreciate most of the item have English translation. The staff also friendly and...

【入場無料、日曜日月曜日休み】2023年9月9日土曜日の午後2時過ぎに訪問しました。駐車場入口にある案内所を通りすぎて右手に入口がありますのでそこから入りましょう。この名古屋大学博物館は昭和39年（1964年）にヘラルドグループ創業者の古川為三郎夫妻の寄付によって名古屋大学図書館として建てられたもので、新図書館の建設で平成12年（2000年）に博物館としておーぷんした建物です。2階は常設展としてマッコウクジラの骨格標本や電子顕微鏡などの展示、3階は企画展として深海の世界や名古屋大学150年記念の展示がされていました。ここは一部を除いて撮影可能で表示がされてるものは触れるものもあります、比較的コンパクトな博物館ですが入場無料ですので名古屋大学近辺に来た際は一度来てみてはどうでしょうか。
