Cozy cafe inside the gender study library of Nagoya university. I find the sandwiches here quite tasty and soup is quite good. However, the better sandwiches are sold out quite early, so aim to be there before noon. Also, it’s a slow moving place - don’t expect a speedy service. 昭和区の珈琲豆屋さんゴルピーコーヒーさんのメルマガでも紹介されてる名古屋大学構内のベーカリーカフェ。大通りを眺めながら、コーヒーと美味しいサンドイッチを頂ける♩ 店内は、少し小さめですが、伺ったのが土曜日だったのでお客さんもちょうど良い具合で、のんびりできました。 フードメニューは、ディスプレイのパンやケーキ、それにサンドウィッチやパニーニ。 今回は、「日替わりサンド」と「サーモンのサンド」、それにホットコーヒー。 日替わりサンドは、パストラミハムに、クリームチーズ、レタスかな？、しっかり塩っけがあるハムに、気持ち酸味もあるクリームのバランスが美味しかった。 サーモンのサンドは、フォカッチャ生地で外面はカリッと！中はふっくらで、嬉しい食感。 コーヒーは、マシンで淹れた一杯。しっかりした苦味と、ほのかに甘さがあって、サンドイッチと一緒に美味しく頂きました。 伺ったのは11月中旬。窓からは色づき始めたイチョウの木が綺麗でした。

Nice place to take a break after classes. It is full sometimes with Nagoya University students (us). Though it is kind of place more for female students! So if you are not with a female friend better to go...

Habitant à Nagoya depuis 5 mois, j'habite à deux minutes de ce café mais je n'y suis jamais allée. J'y suis allée hier pour la premiere fois hier et je suis revenue aujourd'hui. La nourriture est extraordinaire et me rappelle les goûts de la ma chère France, que ce soit la patisserie ou la quiche qui est tout juste merveilleuse. La gérante du café est d'une incroyable gentillesse ! Le fondant au chocolat etant sold out, elle en a chauffé un specialement pour moi. Je recommande ce café pour tout ceux qui aime le café francais ou encore le petit dejeuné francais ( surtout le pain au chocolat !!).
