I’m editing this review from a while back, which I made after only my first time visiting the store. I’ve since come by for lunch just about three times a week for the past two months, as this place is very close to my university. It’s a very similar establishment to some of the other nearby restaurants, and as such has a comparable menu and price range. Don’t expect to pay anything more than 1000円 for a solid, filling lunch set. The student lunch is 700円, and rotates daily. Other higawari options are 800円, though that’s about comparable to the price of just about everything else on the menu. While it’s surrounded by other similar places, it definitely stands out. The food is authentic, fresh, made fast and to order. Free ōmori rice will fill up a starving student (me, every day), and there’s so many lunch combos you can make that you’ll honestly never get bored. Besides, you can get a free little soft candy when you pay your comically cheap bill.
