Today (23 Sep, Monday) I went to Mega Kebab near Nagoya University around 1:20pm, and I honestly can't believe how I was treated. I ordered my food in Japanese, but the guy there, for some reason, started talking to me in Hindi, which I understand, but his tone was loud and extremely rude, like he was irritated with me for no reason. That alone was bad enough, but when I asked for LINE points, he flat out refused and said unless I leave a review on the website, he wouldn’t give me the points! What kind of nonsense is that? And then he had the audacity to bring up my brother, who wasn’t even there, and accuse him of not leaving a review and just taking the points—completely irrelevant and none of his business! When I mentioned that the Osu branch didn’t pull this kind of stunt, he stuttered and still said he wouldn’t give me the points. I was keeping it together until then, so I just told him to finish the billing, but when I handed him ¥10,000, he claimed they didn’t have change because he supposedly just deposited all their cash in the bank! Are you serious?! Then he tells me to pay by card, and when I said I didn’t have a card with me, he said I should just return the receipt and cancel the order! I was so shocked I looked at the other staff for some help, but he just ignored me as if none of this was his problem. The entire situation was infuriating and absolutely unacceptable. I’ve never been...
Read moreDisappointed. That one word represents this experience for me, I ate alot of kebab and shawarma back at my home country and when I learned about this place I was so excited that I kept thinking about my order for a full week. First off, the delivery speed was excellent, the packaging was nice but after opening the packaging the problems started, the chicken wrap is expensive and kind of bland, It was OK but that's all, it needed some sauce some seasoning, anything to give it a kick. Next I tried the french fries, and they were the worst french fries I have ever had, they were the most soggy, cold and bland with zero seasoning fries I have ever seen, it was horrible, and to close my meal I had a chicken pita which was surprisingly good but still lacking.
Edit: I had previously rated this place as a 1 star BUT I tried the food inside the restaurant and I have to admit, eating it fresh makes a HUGE difference, it's very good when it's fresh and hot but I would not recommend take away or delivery, you need to dine in and eat it fresh, and it's actually much cheaper when you dine in plus the staff are so friendly and nice and made me feel welcomed.
Overall, I would highly recommend eating in the restaurant but I would never take out or order delivery as thus kind of food loses so much taste and quality if...
Read moreVery helpful and nice staff. They speak some English on top of Japanese and Turkish. The food was very fresh, prepared in front of me. Take away also available. There is a good offer for lunch time recently. You get your drink for free with your choice of pita or roll sandwich. There is also Turkish tea and ice cream if you are in for the extra calories. There is a very nice terrace to sit and enjoy your meal in sunny days. The shop is right by one of the side entrances to Nagoya University and not far...
