Read moreHouse that used to belong to the founder of the Matsuzakaya department store company. It was originally part of a larger set of grounds, but this house and a garden still remains. The house costs 300 yen to get in, but you can get a discount if you have a Nagoya Subway one day pass, at least on certain days. You can't quite go around every room in the house, and the insides are fairly bare, but it certainly is a good example of early 20th century Western influenced architecture and has some unusual things including the theatre stage in the basement.
