One of the best beaches in the South of Okinawa. If you want peace and quiet, this is your place. Clear warm water and some nice rock formations. I had swim shoes luckily, as there are some sharp rocks and shells on the shore. There is one shop there that sells Indian food and cold drinks. I would advise getting a taxi. We got the bus and it took ages. Especially going back to Naha and getting stuck in rush hour traffic. Walking to the bus stop, I walked into a huge cobweb and a massive golden orb spider hit me in the face. On the beach, I stupidly took a nice looking shell with me for souvenir, without looking inside it. Weeks later back in Ireland, I noticed there was a dead hermit crab inside it. I was gutted. I christened him 'Pinchy'. So, please look inside if you pick anything up on that beach....

The beach is great overall and I'd rate the snorkelling to be half decent, but putting one star to warn drivers to be careful! Look out for signs that explicitly state "500 yen" parking option please! We parked at a place that says paid parking (no amount indicated) and when we went down to the beach the lady asked us to pay 800 yen!!! Not sure if it was because we were tourists. Afterwards we left the beach from another end and saw the 500 yen parking option (closer to the beach too!). Be forewarned that a lot of things cost money. Using the showers also chargeable at 500 yen each. Might want to find a beach which offers these...

this beach IS THE PLACE to be on okinawa main island.. unlike many other public beach in okinawa which is man made with lifeguards this place is one of those old school country side beach in natural setting

what make this excellent spot is sea life, you cab snorkel and see a lot of fishes. also this is very shallow water so if you come during low tide you can walk pretty far out.

there are limited amenity, so bring your own tent unless u wish to pay 2000 jpy for 2hour usuage of covered table

you can drive 1.5 or 2hr to northern side of okinawa but this place is about 40min from airport so much more accessible. there are paid...

Wonderful little spot! Came here recently and had a great time. If you’re looking for the famous Okinawa Sign, search for the pin ミーバルビーチガラスボートのりば that will take you right where you need to go. The beach itself is beautiful, with clear water and nice sand. Parking can be a bit tight, especially if it gets busy, but overall it’s a very pleasant place to relax and enjoy the view. Definitely worth the visit!

Parking/Entry fee is ¥500. Has a shower area ¥400 adults ¥300 kids. Glass boat ride available. If you’re looking for the sign and using this pin 📍 make a right once you walk down the steps. It’s about a quarter mile down. There are 3 entry points total I seen. Wear beach shoes. Coral / rock beach. Not soft sand. Vending machines on site. Water felt amazing. Kid friendly. Perfect location for photos.
