Jan 2, 2025 Small but very scenic. Every photo turns out like a postcard. Very small with just one straight strip compared to other bigger onsen towns like Kusatsu Onsen. Easily walkable in 30-45 mins max. No need to stay overnight unless you are crazy about seeing the town being lit up at night.

Shuttle bus is often so don't worry too much for waiting. If you want to visit after 4pm, you'll have to make a reservation otherwise you won't be allowed.
