I have never had a straightforward experience at this office. When I first moved to the ward I was told that I would have to return to my previous prefecture to sign out of my residency. Obviously that wasn't correct, and when I returned to do the procedure properly I was told that I should have come sooner because the time had expired on the period for filling out the documents, which was because they sent me away.
When I decided to move closer to Osakashi, I was asked by my real estate agent to collect certain information. I explained to the staff here that it was very important to me to have it and they told me it wasn't the right information. I persuded them that I was simply collecting the requested info for my new contract, and they eventually submitted to my urging. The number system is entirely random for being called up for your turn to see an office worker, with many numbers showing up on the screen several times before yours is called, and they are drastically out of sequence. When I was finally called up to submit my document the office worker crossed out the majority of my requests and sent me away. After more waiting I was finally given the document, which didn't have any of the information I requested, meaning that I had to pay twice and do the procedure twice.
Considering that a holiday on a working day is very rare and precious this is a massive drain of time which is even more vital when planning to move.
To make things worse, in the lobby there is the most depressed sounding man selling honey or something saying "mananenka" literally non-stop. He doesn't even take a breath So a process that would usually just be as boring as watching paint dry has the added Bliss of the feeling that someone is trying to squeeze a brick into your ear.
I have to give the review one star as a minimum, but if I didn't have to, I'd give it one star anyway, because the 2 or 3 members of staff that actually help and don't pretend to get stressed when you ask for help are really kind, and I do appreciate that they are trying in a...

Please note the woman named Maeda at counter 5. Maeda has a very bad attitude.
As a foreigner, it is troublesome to lodge a complaint in Japanese, but anyway Maeda's attitude is so bad that it makes me want to vomit, so I wrote this long.
I have come to Ikuno Ward Office many times to do various procedures, and the other staff did a good job. However, Maeda No. 5 has a bad attitude every time, at any rate, she never greets me, and he always looks at me with blank eyes. When I talk to her, she doesn't reply, she doesn't tell me where there is a form to fill in, she koncks the paper with her index finger , Maeda when she explains something, if it was not eye contact, she has a bad attitude and asks me âif I'm listeningïŒâwhat do you mean? From what I have just seen, Maeda has a completely different attitude towards Japanese and foreigners. To Japanese people, I have a good attitude and I can speak properly. I don't come to the ward office to get all kinds of help or to be treated with this kind of attitude. I think the ward office is the face of the Japanese government. It is a loss to have people with this bad attitude. I feel so bad that I think Ikuno ward discriminates against foreigners. Please do...
