Rose Garden — Attraction in Osaka

I like this spot even when the roses aren’t in bloom. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the greenery of the park. The rose garden includes an area with signs in English and Japanese with explanations about the history and types of roses.

If you see any shiny green beetles 🪲 on the flowers or leaves, pick them off and step on them. Even though the roses get sprayed at least once a year, just a few of these can do a lot of damage. The roses and the hungry ants 🐜 will thank you😌

Included in the photos is the Tsurumi ‘90 Rose which was developed by the Keihan Gardening Group to commemorate the 1990 Expo park. The Keihan group also appears to have contracts to do maintenance/gardening not only in the rose garden but in other areas of the Hanahaku Expo park as well.
