Biwako Base — Attraction in Otsu

After picnic with family at omimaiko we stopped by this small aquarium that’s clean and well maintained. They had different kinds of frogs , salamanders and small fishes. My sons love frogs and they were able to touch and see them closely. They were so excited to be able to touch the snake that was there as well! Visitors 18yrs older pays ¥300 entrance fee, 18 below go in free. We weren’t able to check out the books available but for those who have time or interest in reading about amphibians etc, the place have quite a collection. Toilet is also available inside.

Depois do piquenique com a família no omimaiko passamos por este pequeno aquário limpo e bem cuidado. Eles tinham diferentes tipos de sapos, salamandras e pequenos peixes. Meus filhos adoram sapos e puderam tocá-los e vê-los de perto. Eles estavam tão entusiasmados por poder tocar na cobra que estava lá também!
