we wanted to go skiing today but the lift at biwako was closed so we came to find a cafe instead. this cafe is on the side of the road and is small and quaint but so cute and warm inside, with a small swing and patio area outside too. the owners were very kind and asked us where we were from to add to his map stickers of all the guests of the cafe. the decor was also really cute and showcased a lot of small tokens and trinkets. we ordered a coffee, chestnut latte, egg sandwich, and curry sandwich. their french toast sandwiches are fluffy and moist and the flavors were delightful! the coffee had good flavor and the chestnut latte was really nostalgic. the space is small but cozy and overlooks the lake, and i imagine it must be beautiful in the warmer months when it’s greener. would absolutely love to come back again in the future, if we are ever in...
