Oh-daira Park — Attraction in Saitama

This park has the largest continuous open area of any park in this region. It has a small big toy for little children, a swing set that fits adults, a couple of climbing toys for the bigger kids, a 1 hoop half-court dirt basketball court, a full baseball / soccer pitch, a sandbox, and an area to play in that is shaded with trees. 野球！サッカーに使えるグランドがあり、シーズンになると子供から大人まで、いろんな声が聞こえます。 銀杏や桜、欅などもあり規模は大きく無いけど、四季を感じられます。 地域のボランティアの方？が、花を植え替えてくれいるようで、ちょっとした花壇もあります。 2022年は、洪水対策の貯水池工事をされてる為、遊具は限られて居ますが、工事が終わったら、小さな子どもが楽しめる遊具も戻ってくるでしょう。 古い資料を見ると、ここは湧き水でできた池だったとの事。 なので今は暗渠になって居ますが、北側から小川が始まり、鴨川に注いでいるのです。 近くにはコンビニ、100均、パン屋、蕎麦屋もあります。 パン屋はトッピングをしてもらえるコッペパンが絶品。私は、餡+マーガリンが好き♪ あと南側にある蕎麦屋も旨い。 重ね蕎麦と言う独特のメニューで、自分の好きな量を頼めます。この店、蕎麦も旨いけど、うどんも旨いんです。ツルッとしたのど越しが汁に絡まりこれまた旨い。 余談がおおくなりましたが、この公園は、コロナで中止になってしまった夏祭りも開催されたり、地域に...
