I went there on January 2nd 2025. It was a nice place for a morning jog or an evening walk. Sakai city was a port city. The lighthouse was built in 1877. It lit up Osaka bay for about 100 years. Due to the land reclamation extending out to the sea, it could no longer fulfill its role and in 1968 the lights were turned off. The story is written on a...

A peaceful harbour with ample space for running, leisurely activities. You can even get your barbeque and enjoy the evening alongside a stream. There are no food stalls here so it's better to arrange food before you get to this place. It's not crowded even on weekends. You can let yourselves be mesmerized by the many yatchs or the old...
