水木しげるロードを歩いていると、突然現れる不思議な神社、それが妖怪神社なんです。

最初に目に飛び込んでくるのが、一反木綿の形をした鳥居です。（これだけでもう「おっ」って感じ( ﾟДﾟ)）。 そして、手水舎を探すと、なんと目玉おやじの清めの水があるんです。（おやじがクルクル( *´艸｀)） 大きな目玉の石がゆっくり回っていて、子供たちに人気みたいですよ。

境内はそんなに広くないんですが、至る所に妖怪の世界観が詰まっています。 御神体は黒御影石と樹齢300年の欅だそうで、水木しげる先生自身が入魂したんだとか。（カーッ！って感じかな？？）

裏手には「目玉石」があって、これも水木先生が指差したところが落ちてできたっていう言い伝えがあるんです。 触るとご利益があるらしいですよ。(´人`)

お参りの仕方も面白くて、普通の神社とは違って妖怪たちを呼び出すんだそうです。 深いお辞儀をして、拍手を2回打って、心の中でお願い事を唱えるんですって。（妖怪さん妖怪さん） 最後にまた深いお辞儀でお礼をするんだとか。
