この遺跡からは武器や農具などが見つかっていません。戦いも農業もせずに何やっていたのか。纏向遺跡は政（まつりごと）を行うために作られた施設だったと考えられています。今は草が生い茂り当時の雰囲気を感じ取ることはできませんでした。
