JMSDF Sasebo Museum Sail Tower — Attraction in Sasebo

If you're into Japanese modern history, war history and naval history in general, definitely give this museum a go. I went today, 18th November 2023, it wasn't too busy. At the entrance the staff will give you a plastic numbered token, along with a piece of paper outline, what's allowed and not allowed to be done inside. I got the list of rules in Japanese, even though I'm not Japanese (I know enough to converse).

The staff will definitely recommend you to take the elevator up to the 7th floor and walk your way down. The 7th floor gives you a view of the port, with a navy ship in the distance. One of the two places you can take a photo. The other floor is the 1st or 2nd floor. Spent a couple of hours here, it was rather very informative. interesting museum and eye opener experience to maritime life. i like to watch the maritim vids on the 7th floor. it gives more insight on maritime tasks and duties. most of the area prohibits photography so please check around for the sign. many things are displayed as photo and its information so maybe for people that are not interesting to history or naval issues, they will tend to get bored easily. my sons love going to museum though, so they still think this trip is enjoyable. and...

Très déçu par ce musée

Je me faisais une joie de le visiter pour deux raisons j'adore les bateaux et ma boutique.

Le musée à l'air incroyable et franchement visuellement y'a des trucs de folies !

Mais pas le droit au photo déjà coup dur mais bon on respecte. Sauf que moi je suis français et autant je comprends à l'oral le japonais. Mais à l'écrit c'est pas la même. Et j'ai l'habitude de sortir mon téléphone pour faire LENS et TRANSLATE sur les textes bah là non du coup car les gars ils pensaient que c'est des photos.

Alors voilà super excité à l'idée de faire ce musée + j ai rien compris de ce que je voyais. Bon les yeux ont pris tellement de belles images ça vaut les étoiles.

Et la boutique, je veux acheter une casquette, je l'essaye, elle me va, on me dit : "haaaa non! C'est le modèle d expo et moi en stock j'ai plus que des petites tailles ! "

Mais du coup madame je peux pas acheter le modèle d'exposition ? Il me va super bien, et puis vous avez pas la taille qui correspond donc ça vous sert pas trop ? Heeee non! Tu la reposes et tu te casses frustré...
