Great museum! There are many life-size replicas to immerse yourself in Japan from primitive times to today's period. You can feel the atmosphere and project yourself into all these eras. There is a QR code to scan to listen to an audio guide from your smartphone. It was so interesting that we took our time and stayed there for an hour and thirty minutes. The staff is very welcoming and one of the gentlemen makes an effort to communicate in English. The architecture of the museum is also modern and very beautiful. It is definitely worth a visit!

Wonderful museum! So worth it to visit and to think the entrance fee is cheap, the things you see in there are worth more than that. They made a very good job with the whole exhibit. Even the translated voice description of the exhibit is included in the price. If there's only one museum that you could visit in Ehime prefecture, make it this one. They have everything you need to know. I promise you, you will be amazed!

いいですいいです！ とってもいいですね！！ とにかく展示物がとても充実しています ジオラマがふんだんに設置されているし、実寸大の展示もたくさんありました 特設展を頻繁に開催したり、素晴らしい取り組みをされていると思います 今はサンリオデザイン展が開催中でしたね とは言え場所が、、、はー松山から遠すぎて、一般に観光客は行きにくいところなんですよねえ、、、 行く前は、立地、悪いんじゃない？ と思ってたんですが、周りをよく見ると、卯之町の重伝建、松葉城跡など、マッチング度合いはかなり高目なエリア まず卯之町駅がキレイだし、駅前の「ゆるりあん」という施設がよいです こぢんまりしていますが、お土産、丼屋、ハローワーク笑という充実ぶりなのに、更にチャレンジショップという取り組みで、カレーとかラーメンとか、カフェやイタリアンの店舗が入っていました、、、すごいですねー そんなこんなで半日の観光にとてもフィットしているんですよー、素晴らしい、、 西予市の市役所お膝元だからでしょうかー、とっても行き届いているのを感じました ちなみに、本題のこちらの歴博ですが、車でないなら裏道（登山口）からの訪問をおすすめします 重伝建エリアから支援学校の脇を入っていくと、遊歩道の入口が見つかりますので、山道ですが、ぜひそちらから回られるのが良いと思います 施設としては大変素晴らしい！！ 自分の行った日がたまたまかもしれませんが、まったくお客は入っておりませんでした笑 あ、ミュージアムショップも大充実です 特に図説系、、、香川元太郎さんの本もあった、、、 欲しかったです、、、 他にも軽食のとれるカフェがありますが、いずれも現金か、謎のみきゃんアプリでしか支払いができません！ お気をつけください！笑

サンリオ企画展で行きました キティちゃんのステージや写真撮影もあり子供は喜んでいました。 サンリオ企画展示では、サンリオの変遷、歴史を知れて面白かったです。歴史博物館ならではの展示だったのではないでしょうか。 常設展も昔の建物などの再現展示を楽しめました。質も高い気がします。 ただ、企画展開催中だからなのか疲れる場面が多かったです。 まず、イベント混雑時の駐車場誘導がない。場内で鉢合わせになり立ち往生10分。 注意するスタッフがいないので、ルール無視で通路に寄せて停める輩も多いからすれ違い出来なくなりまた車同士でお見合いが発生して動けない。 結局空きがないので1km離れたところに止める。博物館までの丘を15分かけて登る。 イベント時には駐車場誘導を出して欲しい イベント整理券も酷い 整理券の配布時間は決まっているのに、何時間も前から並ぶ人が多くて、3時間前にはもう定員に達してしまいます。でも配らない。人数締めてるのに配らない 長時間立った状態で動けないので子供は体調悪くなってしまいました。週末は決裁権のある人が現場にいないのかわからないが対応力のかけらもない。 整理券の配布時間前の並びについても時間管理するとか、事前予約制にするとかいくらでも方法あるよね

We spent a couple of hours in this impressive museum. Would need much more time to fully take in the experience and history here.

松山市ではなく西予市にありますし、観光客に向けてではなく、県民に対して作った施設って感じがします。展示にも愛媛県政史とか県民としての意識高揚みたいなのが有りますし。でも高速出口の至近とはいえ、東予の人にとっては不便だろって思います。これは誘致に際しての政治的綱引きを感じざるを得ません。そう言えば広島県も広島市ではなく、県東部の福山市に所在です。 観光地の様なサラッと流して観る展示内容では勿論なく、古代～中世～近現代と愛媛県域の歴史が丹念に展示されています。また実寸サイズのジオラマが充実して、余り知識がなくても楽しめると思います。基本、写真撮影は禁止ですが、可能な箇所は看板があります。 全部の展示を丹念に見ていくなら時間が必要です。移動時間も有りますし、ショップやカフェでの休憩を含めて1日腰を据えて楽しむのが良いかと思います。
