It was great. When I was here, there was a bunch of Sanrio stuff. Maybe it is always like that. My Japanese friends seemed very invested in the Sanrio stuff, but I didn't really get into it. I did learn something--that Hello Kitty is actually a girl in a cat suit, though.
Anyway, then there was the actual history part! I loved it! They have full size models of the houses that Japanese people would have lived in during different periods in history. It was so cool to walk into those home models. The homes also showed the shoes they would wear, the food they would cook, daily items that would be on the shelves. Amazing.
