Park has quite a few cherry blossom trees [early April blossom], and it has other year-round trees which are still NOT Tall enough to provide visitors sufficient shades, shielding visitors from heavy sun in summer. But Park can be fun for visit in Spring and in fall.
In addition to children park and playground area, park site does offer gym and yoga sessions to the adult, while its gym stadium does allow public access for basketball and volley ball use.

The play equipment is run down and not really designed for little kids.
Being so close to the Izumi Chuo Subway Station, I was impressed that the parking fees were satisfactorily cheap and the parking lot had a lot of room.
The saving factor of the day was the stream that runs through the park. With water to get their feet wet and play in, kids come alive! It was shallow and safe enough for elementary aged children to play in under supervision.
