Kinuta Park — Attraction in Tokyo

Kinuta Park is a really nice park to go if you have young children. There are playgrounds and lots of open space to run around. There are sports fields as well and there is an art museum you can wander around in. During cherry blossom season, this park can be packed for hanami. There is a parking lot on the north side, it's not expensive and easily accessible. If you are relying on public transport, the best way to get here is to take the train to Yoga station and walk down from there. It's about 10-15 minutes walking and it's quite a nice walk, and there are signs guiding you from Yoga station...

Now this a good park. Lots of space for playing including grass areas. One area of the park reminds me a little of Hampstead Heath (in London) as there are lots of wooded areas and the ground undulates a lot.

Area of park where ball games are allowed is slightly too controlled (speakers telling people not to play games that disturb other people and other such stuff every 10 minutes or so) but this is bearable.
