Mitake Station — Attraction in Tokyo

It is a beautiful little train station. The waiting room is in the station before you go through the IC barriers. Right next to the station there is an information center where you can buy souvenirs and get stamps. There are also clean toilets and vending machines. The place is beautiful and it is only a few meters to the river. But you have to be able to walk. The warning about black ice should be taken seriously! On this day it was 15 degrees at lunchtime and yet the path along the river was frozen...

Mountain seems almost intimidating from the station. Nature surrounded place. Train comes about once in half an hour. No direct train to Tokyo...

御岳山・御嶽神社への最寄駅。

木材を多く使った暖かみのある駅です。

自動改札機はありません。改札や集札は係員が行います。また、ICカード乗車券用の簡易改札機があります。

精算機はありません。改札窓口で精算します。ICカード乗車券の残高が足りない場合は改札窓口でチャージするか改札係員の指示に従って改札外のチャージ機で行ってから簡易改札機にタッチします。

駅前からバスに乗り継ぐ予定のある人は、乗り換え時間がタイトな場合もあるので、あらかじめ多めにチャージしてこの駅に向かうことをお勧めします。

周囲には売店はありません（コンビニが出来るらしいですが…）。

ラーメン屋さんやそば屋さん、カフェが駅の近くにありますが、電車やバスの本数が少ないのであまりゆっくりは出来ないと思います。

必要なものやおにぎりやパンなどの最低限の食料はあらかじめ買い込んでから出かけた方が無難です。
