This museum was established by ikeda senseiand opened near the soka university campus in hachioji city , Tokyo, Japan, in 1983. The new wing was added in 2008. The collection of some thirty thousand works spans the arts and cultures of Japan, Asia, and Europe, and the Museum takes touring exhibitions to other countries. Very wonderful art gallery and museum indeed and organize very perfectly . U will get free high tea or coffee in the coffee lawn. Tickets are bit higher $10-$15 depending on season . Free for children under 5 years old. Parking is also available behind the building but don't know if they charge . Well equipped for wheelchair also. Employees is also very polite and well manared.
