Urasoe Castle Ruins — Attraction in Urasoe

My wife and I visited this site during our recent weekend trip to Okinawa. We actually wanted to see Hacksaw Ridge. We ran I to a gentlemen that told us to take an unmarked trail in the opposite side of the parking lot. We were also told to walk down some stairs and through a cemetery where we found the actual bottom of the cliff from Hacksaw Ridge. It is not as tall as the cliff in the movie. There was a small marker but there is little else to give this justice. I am glad that we got to visit and experience...

I took bus #55 from Kamiizumi bus station in Naha to Nakama bus stop. It cost me 370¥.

Once you get off, you keep walking in the same direction until you see a white and blue sign that points you to the right where you will follow a white road uphill until you get to the entrance. The park is open from 9:00 - 18:00 so it’s definitely not 24 hours.

The same bus #55 to go back is across the street a further down in the opposite direction. I’ve left crummy images of the directional sign and bus timetable...
