My wife and I visited this site during our recent weekend trip to Okinawa. We actually wanted to see Hacksaw Ridge. We ran I to a gentlemen that told us to take an unmarked trail in the opposite side of the parking lot. We were also told to walk down some stairs and through a cemetery where we found the actual bottom of the cliff from Hacksaw Ridge. It is not as tall as the cliff in the movie. Once you get off, you keep walking in the same direction until you see a white and blue sign that points you to the right where you will follow a white road uphill until you get to the entrance. The park is open from 9:00 - 18:00 so it’s definitely not 24 hours.
