I saw this place on Google Maps and was intrigued to try it. I love Desi food and most reviews said the food here was good. I had pretty high expectations for the food going into it and I wasn't disappointed (maybe only a little bit). My boyfriend and I tried this place out over the weekend and here is the verdict. It's long, but hopefully it helps to make a decision to come here.
We ordered:
Chicken Biryani - 7.5/10 Coconut Chicken Curry - 5/10 Samosas - 9/10 Garlic Cheese Naan - 8/10
Appetizers The best item we ordered was definitely the samosas. They were hot, very well seasoned, and I really enjoyed the bits of cashews inside. The garlic cheese naan was also quite good, although it was very very greasy. My boyfriend didn't think it had enough "cheesy" flavor, but I thought it was a decent level of cheese.
Mains I had the chicken biryani and while it was pretty good, I've definitely had better at other restaurants around Japan. It also did not come with boiled egg, which I've gotten at every other restaurant when I order biryani (chicken, mutton, or vegetable). It also wasn't spicy, although I sorta wish it was. My boyfriend got the coconut chicken curry and he said it wasn't very seasoned and was a bit mild for his taste.
The Biggest Problems The coconut curry didn't come with a side of rice. We didn't notice on the menu if the curries come with plain rice or if you had to order it separately. In other restaurants, we've been asked if we want to get plain rice or naan with our curries, even if we already ordered a separate plate of plain rice or naan. The man taking our order didn't ask if we wanted a side of plain rice with the coconut curry, so we thought maybe it came with. Imagine our surprise when we open the bag and see no side of rice! Okay, no big deal to me; I thought maybe they forgot. However, my boyfriend was pretty annoyed. He ended up making his own at home.
They also did not ask for our preferred spice levels. At other restaurants, we have always been asked what spice level we'd like for our food. This is minor, but I would've liked being able to make my food spicier.
The Service The man taking our order was pretty nice. While I was waiting for our food (boyfriend went to conbini for something), one younger man brought me a complimentary cup of lassi while I waited. It was creamy, sweet, and cold; absolutely delicious. Overall, the service and staff were great.
Overall, I'd come back to this place because everything did taste pretty good and the portion sizes were nice. Maybe next time, I'd ask if they could make our dishes spicier and I'd have to remember to ask for extra sides of rice. Try it out if you're in the Uruma/Camp...

Every time I find myself in Okinawa, this restaurant becomes my go-to for dinner, and it never disappoints.
Upon entering, you’re greeted by an inviting ambiance that strikes a perfect balance between comfort and elegance. The warm colors and tasteful decor set the stage for an enjoyable meal, making it an ideal spot for both casual dinners and special occasions.
The menu is a vibrant showcase of Indian cuisine, and I always opt for the Tandoori mix grill set. This substantial dish comes generously portioned, featuring an array of perfectly grilled meats that are marinated to perfection. Each bite bursts with flavor, and I often find myself with enough leftovers to savor later, which is a delightful bonus!
While the prices can lean toward the higher side, especially for dinner, the lunch menu offers more economical options without compromising on quality. This makes it accessible for those looking to indulge in this fusion cuisine without breaking the bank.
Service here is top-notch. The gentleman who served us was exceptionally professional and exuded an air of experience that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. His recommendations were spot-on, adding to the overall delight of the evening.

Read moreOkay so, I’m torn about this place because the food tastes amazing, but their service (one particular guy) is off. Now mind you, I’ve been there several times with my family and each time I make excuses for him (1-he must been having a bad day, 2-oh maybe it’s another off day for him, 3-another bad day possibly?, etc….) to my husband because he was pretty furious ESPECIALLY after today. We asked him for to go boxes/bowls and he went over to a table and tossed a box of foil to my husband. After a couple of minutes of waiting for the to go bowl, I walked over to the register to see if he had forgotten about it, but he told me that they didn’t have any to go bowls. My husband asked if there was something else we could use to pack up our curry b/c we had a good amount of leftovers and wanted to OBVIOUSLY take it home. The server ignored us AGAIN. He walked over to a cabinet, opened it and low and behold, there were the bowls. It seemed like he knew it was there, but refused to give it to us. At the register, I asked him if he was okay and if there was something we did wrong because his tone and attitude was just so rude. He didn’t give us an answer and walked away after my transaction went through. That’ll definitely be the last time we go. If you haven’t experienced the rude service, lucky you 🤷🏽♀️ At this point, I would rather drive to the Indian restaurants in Chatan, than to deal with the rude...
