Coaska Bayside Stores (Coaska Bayside Stores), which has problems getting in and out of the parking lot, is a large shopping mall located in Honmachi, Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and reopened in June 2020. It has become a popular spot for local residents and tourists alike, with a wide variety of stores, including one of the largest MUJI stores in the area, GU, and a movie theater.
(1) Location and Access
Coesca Bayside Stores is very conveniently accessible by public transportation, being about a 3-minute walk from Shioiri Station on the Keihin Kyuko Line and a 9-minute walk from Yokosuka Station on the JR Yokosuka Line. When visiting by car, it is located approximately 3 km from the Yokosuka Interchange on the Yokohama-Yokosuka Road, and has a parking lot that can accommodate approximately 1,380 vehicles. Parking fees are 500 yen for 60 minutes, with up to 4 hours of free service depending on the amount of purchases made at the museum. However, since the surrounding roads are often congested in the afternoon on weekends and holidays, it is recommended that visitors allow plenty of time for their visit.
②Facilities and Services
With more than 100 stores inside the museum, including MUJI, GU, and other fashion, general merchandise, and restaurant stores, visitors can enjoy shopping and dining throughout the day. The restaurant floor on the third floor is particularly well stocked, allowing visitors to enjoy a variety of meals with family and friends. The Yokosuka HUMAX Cinemas movie theater, bowling alley, and other entertainment facilities are also located here, catering to people of all ages. Business hours vary from store to store, but are generally from 10:00 to 21:00. We recommend checking the official website for details.

They have a small play area for kids. There is a indoor gym area but you have to pay for that.
They do have everything here bowling alley, movie theater, book store, and daiso (100 yen store).
I would highly avoid going on weekends if you are driving. The stores are not packed but the parking may be hard to find. Not bad if you are walking there.
If you do find they have parking vouchers and depends on how much you spend you get free parking for certain hour. When you buy stuff at the mall even at the restaurants they will give you a qr code parking voucher. Just remember your license plate number and before going to your car there is a box where you can type your license plate in and scan the voucher and then get to your car and leave. Easy as that.
Very convenient place if you live or with on the Navy Base. Easy to go for quick meal or shopping...

Parking can be validated but you cannot use multiple validation stamps at the same time. So, if you have a validation for 1 hour and a validation for 2 hours, you'll only get 2 hours of credit. Also, if you didn't pay for parking on a previous trip, the video recording system will track your license plate and make you pay for the previous parking bill with the current parking bill. Service at the stores is not at the usual high standards that can be felt at other businesses farther away from the military installation. Lots of stores and eateries. Can't say all pricing was great but there is the occasional deal...
