It is an excellent early morning visit. Starbucks Coffee is located in the new landmark of Yokosuka City, Coasca Bayside Stores. With a great location overlooking the ocean, many visitors enjoy their coffee time with the view. Especially in the morning and evening hours, the window seats are well known for their beautiful views.

It is about an 8-minute walk from Shioiri Station on the Keikyu Line and about a 9-minute walk from JR Yokosuka Station. If visiting by car, parking is available at the Coesca Bayside Stores parking lot, which has a capacity of approximately 1,380 vehicles. Parking fees are 500 yen for 60 minutes, and free service coupons are offered based on the amount of purchases made at the facility. However, it is recommended that visitors allow plenty of time for their visit, as congestion can be expected when events are being held in the vicinity.

The restaurant is spacious and offers seating with a power supply. Seating by the ocean is especially popular and can be full at certain times of the day. The latest seasonal menu items as well as a wide variety of classic drinks and food items are available, and the price range is similar to that of other Starbucks locations. It is also open early in the morning, making it a great place to enjoy a morning coffee. 
③ About the sights, attractions and history
The main attraction of this store is the spectacular view of the ocean. Especially on a sunny day, you can relax and enjoy the blue sea and sky. It is also located adjacent to Verny Park, making it a great place to stop by during a stroll in the park. Read moreThis is one of the best Starbucks I have ever been to. I graduated from high school (Queen Anne class of 1974 - go Grizzlies!) in Seattle, and I've been going to Starbucks since their early years - they started in 1971.
In my opinion, the quality of their coffee has gone down over the years - over roasted and brewed too strong. I roast my own coffee at home, and prefer an Ethiopian natural bean roasted to a City or City+ level. The Starbucks at Coaska took me back to the good old days of what I remember Starbucks drip coffee used to taste like - rich, smooth and no charred taste. It's ironic that I had to go to Japan to get back to that coffee experience that I remember.
