Fantastic outing during the summer. Lots for the kids to do. The water adventure playground is really fun for the kids. They have set times that you can enter for 50 minutes at a go. Its just enough time for smaller children. The museum usually has some sort of free event, such as colouring or making something. The turtles in the small aquarium are free to hold as are the zarigani. They put in a climbing wall this year. We went there for the first time. It was cool, unfortunately the water park (paid) is full where kids can ride but there is a water area where kids can play for free.
Make sure to bring extra clothes for them because the museum won’t allow people who are drenched.
We end up enjoying the river museum and watched the amazing history of Arakawa River.
It is situated near Arakawa River itself. So, you can go visit the museum after having a picnic at the riverbanks.
