11月14日（月）に午後に自宅を出て車で行きました。 吉野山観光駐車場に４時過ぎに到着、ライトアップも兼ねての紅葉を見る予定です。11月中は午後５時以降は駐車料金が無料。 この日は平日で少し天気も悪く、奥千本まで車で行ける、、と駐車場の係の方に教えて頂いたので車で進みました。 ご丁寧に、道順を地図で教えて頂きました。 これが大正解でした。車で進むには道幅がかなり狭く、奥に進むにつれすれ違い困難な場所もあります。

目的の高城山展望台に着いた時は５時前。日没間近、曇天でしたが。見事な紅葉を楽しむ事が出来ました。 展望台にはかなり急勾配を登る事になります。流石に車で進むのは不安になり、道の端っこに車を止めて歩きました。 その急勾配の坂は紅葉で真っ赤。見事です。 誰も居ないか？と思ってたらハイカーの人、自転車の人、同じくマイカーの人、数人が来てその紅葉を見て感嘆してます。
