People in this country don't know how to look after themselves never mind the animals.
Poor conditions , not a zoo it's a back garden.
Animals look sad , they have wild tigers and lions. Some looked malnourished. I'm guessing they don't have vets. I'm guessing they are just kept like farm animals.
I didn't visit to enjoy myself , I went to see the horrible conditions.
The kids banging on the windows annoying the Tigers. I had to make comment on the silly children so the parents could hear me.
Let's pray the wild cats get their own back soon on the weird people...

Read moreThis zoo would benefit from an injection of funding, it was obviously started with good intentions and there is a wide variety of animals including bears, lions, llama , oryx and domestic animals as well as rides for children too. It is a good place for kids to see animals close to Amman and at 2JD per person it's cheap. Perhaps with a higher entrance fee and/or donations there would be more scope for improvement.
