It’s a 3,5 km. long trail which takes around 3 hrs. You will see many breathtaking viewpoints on the way there. Beware! You have to climb many stone stairs leading up the trail.
On the way up we encountered a flock of goats led by shepherd dogs. We made a break at Rajash’s tent. He welcomed us with some sweet bedouin tea and explained us some facts about the bedouin life.

It s going to take 30 to 50 mins to arrive to the bedouin tent, where you will find the best view on the Treasure that Petra has to offer. There are few cats around the tent, but even if you re allergic, it shouldn t be a problem. (Im allergic too and i survived :) enjoy the view with a mint tea. I suggest to go in the morning when the sun hits...
