Main Entrance — Attraction in Almaty

The Botanical garden. A very low entrance fee. Funny ammount. I believe you can come here for picnic and find yourself a quiet spot to spend you whole day at the heart of nature.

There are alot of birds, trees, vegetation, ponds etc to see. This place offers alot of nice corners to shot photo. It is a must come place for lovers too 😇

Besides all that, for running, and doing morning excersise this great garden offers alot of quiet pedestarian roads.

Plus if you like feeding squirrels they will come next to you while walking to seek for food. Do not forget to bring some type of nuts for them. When you see one, lay low, put the nut on your hand, make sure it sees the nut and do not move. They will definately come to be fed.

There is no need for Almaty to have a Botanical Garden, because the whole city is like a botanical garden, with a lush greenery, everywhere, at every step, in every street, on every corner :) But, speaking of Botanical Garden itself, it is a large complex, that consists of several original natural habitat units, so well designed, with a large number of well-kept plants and trees, where one can see and learn about a large number of plant species, but also spend a pleasant time walking and relaxing in a natural environment.
