UPDATE 2025 - Still a great place for a fun family day. We've been coming here for years, and very happy to see that each time we're there, there are actively people doing maintenance around the property. It's all in very good shape and all the slides were open when we went in March 2025, including the lazy river which was unfortunately closed during my original review in COVID
Big shout out to Alex who made sure that all the slides we wanted were available, and led to a fun day. Also thanks to Ngala who took great care of us for food and drinks with amazing service.
One of our favorite attractions at the coast. We are sure to stop here everytime. The slides have a good variety and are definitely fun. The pool area and water are both very clean and nice.
The staff are incredibly friendly, and always try to make sure everyone is having a good time. In fact last year we had my son's birthday party there. They set up the private island for us with a beautiful balloon display and we rode the slides all day.
Now to be fair, it's worth noting a couple of points:
The lazy river is closed for Covid / social distancing reasons. This is totally fair, since it's what they needed to do to get permission to open, but it's still disappointing.
Covid has been really hard on them it seems. I wanted to give a 5 star review and we encourage more people to go to support this great destination, but at the same time, they have really let it run down over the last year. The children's splash area is currently not functioning and even if it was, I wouldn't let kids go near it until they clean off the rust and paint it.
In fact, most of the park could use a good coat of paint. If they assigned a maintenance person to just paint a little bit everyday, all year, then the place would probably attract a lot more repeat business. But I understand, paint costs money and I'm sure money is tight these days with no tourists around.
Still, GO THERE! The coast would be a little worse off without this great attraction here. I know we will be...
Read moreWith out no doubt the worse waterpark I ever visited. I'm unsure where to start, but let's start with the tickets. They got different prices an the gate and on their website. But non of them are correct when you want to pay. After some discussion we where told to register as members to get a better price, but when we did, it became even more expensive. Then we was given a promotion code, that reduced the price. 5-6 different prices all in all... The whole place was very very dirty. Even after being closed for 5 days (only open Saturdays and Sundays) they haven't been able to clean up or remove birdshit all over the area. Most of the slides where close "due to maintenance". So was the only pool with water level above knee height. And the Lazy river haven't seen water in a long time. Apparently due to the same "maintenance", which seem to be another way to say that the management don't care at all to keep the place in order. If you still don't find this bad enough, try to order food. It's without any comparison the worse I've been served in Kenya. The pizza was a frozen one, that was extremely dried out from being melted and frozen over and over again. Topped with a "chicken tikka" that was a eating old reheated potato chips. And it took 1hour 20minutes to get it. Even if we where the only ones eating. And it could not be eaten by our table, because "it was to close to the pool and glass could break". The pizza was served on a wooden tray, that I doubt was breakable... The bill was added drinks we never had, and the food was priced higher than the menu price. I strongly recommend anyone to avoid this place. It's not just because it's extremely bad management, but because it's a pure hustle. The staff was trying their best. But was obviously embarrassed about the...
