Funscapes Two Rivers Theme Park — Attraction in Nairobi

I recently took some of my friends and family to The Rivers Mall and we had an amazing time. We started off by having lunch at one of the food courts, and the food was delicious. After lunch, we made our way to the outdoor activities area where we went on the ferris wheel, the merry-go-round and danced to music that the DJ was playing. We also took lots of pictures and spent the whole evening there till 8 pm.

The mall itself is quite spacious and has a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The outdoor activities area is perfect for families with kids, as there are plenty of rides and games to keep them entertained. The ferris wheel was especially fun, and the views from the top were amazing.

The merry-go-round was also a hit with the kids, and we all enjoyed the music and dancing. The DJ was great and kept the crowd entertained with a mix of old and new hits. We also took a lot of pictures and made some great memories together.

Overall, I highly recommend The Rivers Mall for a fun and enjoyable outing. The food is great, the outdoor activities are perfect for families, and the atmosphere is lively and entertaining. We all had a great time and I can't wait to...

I had a great experience when I visited the park. Multi entry & exit points that eliminate queues. Availability of most facilities like escalators, lifts, ample parking spaces located conveniently closer to various facilities like the shopping mall, outdoor recreation centers etc.. Security is provided with various checkpoints within and information/customer care, desks are conveniently available. Cellular connectivity is excellent for all networks and this extended to the underground parking levels. A bit of orientation would be advised for a first visitor but I also found installed information signage very useful.

One only letdown that I found really inconveniencing was the two road bumps installed just before the roundabout and next to the park entry gates on the Northern bypass road. They are way too huge such that, low vehicles with longer chassis may get damaged or stuck. These two bumps also pose great danger to both motorists and pedestrians. Maybe some repairs can be done and a standard vehicle friendly ones installed.

Whether you are in Nairobi alone or with family (kids), this is a very good spot for leisure and shopping.

The park theme side has got some good rides, but not has many than you will expect if you are coming from Europe or America, but it's still decent comparing to other countries in the region (manage your expectations here!)

For me the best is the mall side, especially the weekend they are selling souvenirs in the Hall (on weekdays you can find the souvenirs in the basement B1). Beware of souvenirs price, sometimes they'll double the price because here you have to bargain/negotiate, you need to get used to that while in Kenya generally. So for any price they give you, the rule of thumb is to propose the half of it.

Also on the positive note, the vast array of restaurants, you have many options to choose from.
