My New favourite Java, nestled along Limuru Road, the Java House at Rosslyn Riviera Mall stands out not only for its spaciousness but for the inviting atmosphere that makes it perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing coffee or meal. The café offers a large, open space with comfortable couches and an upstairs area that’s ideal for readers, remote workers, or researchers. Shelves filled with books invite you to pick one up, settle in with a mug of coffee, and enjoy a peaceful moment away from the hustle and bustle. For those who appreciate a bit of variety, the menu does not disappoint. I had the chance to try the Star Anise White Mocha, a special coffee of the month, which offered a unique twist on the classic white mocha with a subtle, aromatic spice. The blend of smooth white chocolate and the distinct flavor of star anise created a deliciously memorable cup that’s worth every sip. For the meal, I opted for the Vegetable Rice with Stir-Fried Beef and Guacamole, which was perfectly balanced and filling. The stir-fried beef was tender and flavorful, complemented by the light yet savory vegetable rice and the refreshing, creamy guacamole on the side. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying meal that left me completely content. Service: The service at Java House Rosslyn Riviera Mall was exceptional. From the moment we walked in, our host made a lasting impression with his friendly, polite, and professional demeanor. Not only did he greet us warmly, but he also took the time to offer helpful suggestions as we were placing our orders. His attentiveness and knowledge of the menu made the whole process feel seamless and enjoyable. Even with a bustling café, our food and drinks arrived incredibly quickly, without sacrificing quality. The efficiency and friendliness of the staff certainly contributed to the overall positive experience, making it clear that customer satisfaction is a top...

After making the above review some time back I'm here to edit my stars from a 5 star review to a 2 star ⭐⭐
Let's start with the serviettes. They serve a serviette for every order. One serviette. This really intrigues me. One serviette?
I am not sure if management has changed but there is something very wrong with this branch. Let's not even speak about how long a simple order of a samosa and dawa will take. I used to like this particular branch because it's close to home and being a person that works remotely I particularly loved their home like upstairs sitting. Nowadays every morning they put a sign saying upstairs is reserved. Which is a total lie. One morning I insisted and they told me they were short of stuff and that's why they did not want people up stairs.
I watched two guys being denied going upstairs yet they were there to have coffee and probably work or do business - they requested for a quiet place they could hold a meeting. And they blatantly were denied.
This morning I saw the sign and laughed. Some of us come because of that up stairs. Anyway. We can always choose other restaurants to work...
Read moreJava Roselyn was a place I was looking to have a great experience, unfortunately they did not match my expectation. My partner and I order Bbq chicken and cheese wrap plus Quesadilla. They took almost 30minutes just to come and say they don’t have cheese(which is a major ingredient). I advised the waiter we were willing to wait if they can buy cheese. He reverted to us with the idea, that they were borrowing some cheese from their sister store nearby. It took approximately 20min for Elly(our waiter for the day) to come again and say they can’t give an ETA for when the cheese will be brought. So we were to wait blindly. We ran out of patience and changed our orders. We were given an ETA of 15min for the food to be ready. After 35min, I had to go to the counter myself. That’s when they started working on my order. This was very frustrating and underperformance from Java. I don’t see myself going back...
