Holiday Inn 2 Rivers –🏡

I stayed over during Easter holidays of 2023 and I must say I got value for money…I was soo impressed especially with how small and intimate the hotel is making it easy to manage client personal requests. The rooms were clean with white Ironed linen and I loved the Dark curtains that give you a change to enjoy that night sleep almost forgetting to wake up because the sun doesn’t get through. Bathrooms were clean and equipped with the necessary Shower kits

Breakfast served at the lounge and there was variety to choose from the Buffet…I later chilled by the pool enjoying the Ambience at the garden and all towels were replaced regularly after any guest used them. 🍳 🥞

I liked that little nature trail with their palm trees and other green plantations overlooking the Gazebo giving natural environment vybes.. Back to the hotel we had dinner and I rem I ordered a bowl of creamy mushroom soup that I really loved – My guest ordered a plate of salad and he was impressed at the freshness and crispiness plus the generous portion offered by the Chef – we had a little cute band playing soft jazz music creating a perfect mood for dinner 🍽️

The Gym: 🏋️‍♀️ it was well equipped enough and I didn’t hesistate to get on my work out routine on that Treadmill – was a cute lil’ tiny space that makes you jus wanna keep working out…Super clean with Clean white towels as well

From James patiently waiting whilst I sorted a SIM card after landing, to the security team's warm welcome and assistance with my luggage, every interaction felt thoughtfully considered. Nicholas made check-in effortless, whilst Godfrey and Frederick maintained that same professional standard. In the restaurant, Mary's leadership shines through her team -;Florence, Milkah, Jessica, and Lameck anticipate guests' needs beautifully. Robert, the chef, even took time to personally ensure I was enjoying my meal. A lovely personal touch you rarely see these days. Housekeeping deserves special praise. The team didn't just clean my room perfectly each day; when I gave specific instructions, they followed them precisely and exceeded expectations. Returning each day to a pristine, fresh space felt like a luxury. Even security struck the perfect balance professional yet friendly, always offering assistance. What impressed me most about the staff was their genuine attentiveness. When I mentioned needing something from the local market, they immediately offered to help. Same when I mentioned looking for a personal trainer. This isn't scripted service, it's authentic care. Having managed in the leisure industry for years and trained hospitality professionals, I can confidently say this hotel understands the difference between service and hospitality. They've created a culture where staff genuinely want to help, not because they have to, but because they care. The airport pickup service is excellent.
