Such an amazing experience and a must do while in Kuwait! I took the Regular English tour and was the only one that day so felt like a VIP tour. You will be accompanied throughout your visit with 2-3 very well trained guides who will conduct the tour and answer any questions you might have. The tour took 2 hours and included many interactive exhibits and a few short films. You will see replica of the rooms destroyed during the invasion and a museum about the history of Kuwait through its rules. Photography is unfortunately forbidden and only allowed in the foyer. Parking is from Jamal abd Alnasser entrance where you will find underground parking. There is a Starbucks inside the waiting area! As a suggestion to the palace’s management. Please offer follow up tickets to visit the museum and spend more time exploring the various exhibits without a tour. There is so much to see in 2 hours!

English is below. Today I went to Alsalam palace and if you are in Kuwait and you have time to see only one touristic attraction this should be it . At this palace you will learn history of Kuwait in a very modern way and you will witness the state of the art technology in terms of laser display and short movies. Attention to details is remarkable and the fact that they renovated the palace and kept almost 90% of its former identity (down to the famous italian Crystal chandeliers) is simply phenomenal! I loved the tour and the staff are extremely friendly. No photos allowed unless they gave you permission (you have permission to take photo in one room only) please make sure to follow the rules and be on time . No shorts or sleeveless outfit are accepted. And arrive 15 minutes before the booked tour. No walk-in is available. This palace is open to public with booked tours only . And you can choose between two of them (vip -20kd or normal 8kd) with the vip you get to park closer to the entrance of the palace and you get to be welcomed like the old Kings and Important people were welcomed and will have some hospitality also the palace photograph will take some of the photos for you . I highly recommend This even if you think you know everything about Kuwait. I spent more than 30 years here since i was born … and I leaned a lot of history of Kuwait in fun way.

A really excellent and informative tour that needs to be pre booked. The inside is beautiful. Amazing chandelier, actually everything is beautiful inside. It has hosted 160 foreign dignitaries including Q Elizabeth Charles and even P Diana. It was destroyed by the Iraqis then rebuilt. The guide was smart articulate (and very pretty 😊).
