Cocoa Room — Restaurant in Shuwaikh

Cocoa Room used to be my most favorite restaurant in Kuwait before it moved to the JACC location. I absolutely loved the quality of the food, atmosphere, and chic decor there at the previous location. Cocoa Room was "the spot" I would bring my guests, visitors, and friends. I was a regular there. I'm a foodie and I know good food.

I visited the Cocoa room location at JACC recently and was so very dissappointed. The quality is not what it used to be. The beef sausages were burnt at the ends and tasted weird. Myself and 3 friends who ate the beef sausages that day felt sick after. Maybe it was just the day we went but we were not happy because we were weekend regulars at the previous location. The wild mushroom eggs Benedict's used to be my favorite and I was so sad that they have now turned it into a croissant egg sandwich. They also cheaped out on the egg and only give one now instead of 2. I know "eggs benedict" and this is not eggs Benedict. The hash browns also didn't taste hot and fresh. For the same price it used to be portions are now smaller and half the size. I would have been happier if the price increased but the quality and portions remained the same as before. I do not mind paying more for quality. I also do not like how alot of my old favorite items on the menu have been changed. I just wish they would go back to the way it used to be and bring back the old menu. However, thank God they did not change the Lotus pancakes or the Magic Wand. I would cry.

I hope my honest feedback will be used as constructive criticism and hope that ultimately something will be done about the current changes at Cocoa Room. I really miss having good quality breakfast there and will not be returning if it...

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant during my visit to Kuwait. Having heard great things about it while I was in Riyadh, I added it to my list of must-visit places. However, I was extremely disappointed with the service I received.

Upon entering, I was asked how many people were in our party. I replied that there were six of us, but before I could finish my sentence, I was interrupted. The staff informed me that our table would be inside, but I didn't have the chance to explain that there would actually be nine of us in total. I understood from her response that the seating inside was available without a reservation.

Once we were seated, the same staff member approached us again, appearing very frustrated and speaking to us in an unprofessional manner. She reprimanded me for not clearly stating our total number, despite the fact that she had interrupted me earlier and could see that we had entered together.

To my shock, she insisted that we leave the table and the restaurant, even though there were plenty of empty seats available. I was deeply embarrassed in front of my guests, whom I had invited to this restaurant and praised highly.

I understand that reservations are important and that no one should enter without one. However, it is unacceptable for a staff member to ask us to leave after she had initially allowed us in.

This behavior does not reflect the hospitality I associate with the people of Kuwait. I know Kuwaitis to be warm and friendly, and this experience was quite the opposite. It was truly disheartening, and I doubt I...

The restaurant is located in Jaber Al Ahmed Cultural Center. The restaurant has an indoor, outdoor seating with the view of the fountain. If you're welling to good for bxf you better wake up early! because you will wait approximately two hours for a table!! I wish it could accommodate more people:(

This restaurant is by far my favourite bxf place. Not cheap but worth it. menu has a lot of variety of dishes, you have have to try the nutella french toast.

Since i came late so the menu changed to the all day bxf they couldn't make me the nutella french toast :(

but for the salted caramel & fire toasted marshmallow hot chocolate major fail!! the marshmallow was nice but i ended drinking the hot coco that wasn't so tasty at all!

For the desert we had this nutella cwasont i think was good but would be more tastier if it was filled with nutella !
