SIGULDA ADVENTURES — Attraction in Sigulda

Ruined my sisters birthday surprise. Somehow they overbooked the ride, it's for two people but three people had the same time booked. The administrator told us that the ride is overbooked and then just ignored us. It was like - solve this on your own, not my problem. No apologizing, nothing. At the end after 20min evil staring at each other and hoping someone would back out, one of the instructors came and helped us solve the problem - we used peaces of paper and draw the winners. We lost. The instructor gave us a giftcard for a free ride which at this point meant nothing to me because we had to have this whole drama and we had the whole day planned out which now was ruined. That's not all. After a week or so came back to have that ride and decided to join my sister for the ride. Didn't use our camera because they have cameras you can use and buy a video for 15€ after the ride. Turns out it filmed barely a half of the ride leaving me with no video with the actual fun parts I wanted to be remembered. Im sure there are others that have had a great time here. Just sharing...

I rented an electric bike for 8 hours for 49 euros. It was a great bike! It was lightweight (for an e bike) and it had lots of power! If you want, you barely have to pedal at all (which is exactly what I wanted)! And if you are walking it up a hill there is even a little knob you can turn that will move the wheels so you don't have to push! Some of the bike trails in the area are definitely for advanced riders. I was going to go to Ligate but the path was very narrow in spots and right on a hill with a drop off...

It's 20 mins from the bus/train station. Very pleasant walk. We did the cable car to get views and they didn't disappoint. We got ice cream afterwards. It's €50 for a family, so not cheap, but views are amazing. They seemed to have a lift for anyone with mobility limitations or in a chair. There are hikes if you wanted to do some. There was a zip line, but it seemed most got half way and got collected by the cable car. We decided not to zip here, mostly due to short run and cost. Really relaxing here,...
