Tasty and cheap comfort food. Had it for dinner and planning to go back for breakfast. I ordered chicken and deep fried stuffed potato. My friend ordered beaded pork with cheese with a side of potatoes and mushroom in cream sauce.
It's not your typical restaurant where you order off a menu. They have precooked food and you just point to what you want on your plate. Much better than fast food, especially if you're on the go. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. Also, they serve alcohol.
Update: breakfast was so so. They served leftovers from dinner, which wasn't very good the second time around and they didn't have the typical breakfast food aside...

They had one of my favourite ciders available, which is actually English, but we never really see it in England. The sharer which I had with a friend as a starter was really good, balanced between, meats, cheeses, fruits, and breads. The beef cheeks for my main were tender and full of flavour.
The downside was the service, we had to go up and ask to be served and then when it came to the bill was asked to pay cash, even though there was a card...

We waited for the menu for about 15 min then I went inside and received quite an unwelcoming 'service' from the young guy who told me the waitress would come and who gave me 1 menu (for 3 people), without a drink menu. The waitress came another 10-15 min later, and was clearly unhappy to serve us. I paid by card, and to do this I once again went inside because no one from the staff was outside for a long period of time. Most awful service I ever had in Latvia for 40+...
