Lido Villa Olmo — Attraction in Como

Highly disappointed at the beginning then it went a bit better because the staff is nice not very efficient though but they can help. This place is not considering the well being of their customers. It is more about cashing in their money

Maybe I am not used to the way a lido works in the area.

you have to pay for the entrance which is ok but expensive. At the cash desk you are made aware that there is no umbrella left on the grass while there are many on the grass and the terrace for a high price. But you learn later they are already booked. Finally I could one on the grass among others that were not booked or used.

This is what is disappointing : you cannot cash money of the entrance and then let them managed their way to protect themselves of the sun. This is highly wrong.

The problem here is that it is overcrowded and so there are restrictions on swimming pool access. Btw there are two pools with strict rules which make them not enjoyable. Areas of entertainment are very limited at the pool level.

On the lake side, there is an area to swim and dive . This is great. Though , the water is not super clean on the surface populated with natural dejections. I believe. The lido could clean that easily, which would make people happy to swim in the lake and less people in the swimming pools . That a free tip for the managers!

To the manager: you should disallow smokers to smoke. We are quite packed on each other so that I can basically inhale the smoke of cigarettes of others . it is unhealthy and think about I am writing this in 2021: covid period!

We read reviews from visitors before coming there and were stressed by the prices and quality of services, but after visiting this place, we were stunned by the opinion of people who write bad reviews about this place!

Adult 10 euro per day. Reduced 6 euro per day. Umbrella 5 euro per day. Sunbed 6 euro per day. Swimming pool cap 3.5 euro.

These are the prices for the whole day of use! You can leave this place, before leaving you will be stamped on your hand, go for a walk around the city, come back and swim again and relax on the sun beds under an umbrella. People, do you really think it's expensive in such a unique place?

Everything is clean and comfortable. There is no aggression or tension. The guys are young and positive.

There is one lack - there is no sandy beach by the lake. That is, you have to go down the stairs...
