This is not entertainment, this is adventure, victory over oneself and over height. Our adventure was with an 11-year-old child (two adults watched from the ground). It was the child's first time, and he was a little afraid, and so were we, since it was our first time too. The routes themselves are professional and high-quality, not imitation rope adventures.
The park is simply superb: safety, organization, reliability, friendliness, ability to work with children, and affordability. However, if you neglect safety, do not follow the rules, are not willing to listen to the instructor, panic, or have difficulty paying attention, this place is not for you, otherwise you will ruin the day not only for yourself but also for others.
Safety is paramount in the park, and attention to safety begins with the first step... 1 Read all the instructions on the website and think about whether this is right for you or not (about clothing, hair, rules). Glasses can be used.
2 Sign the agreement (it is better to do this in advance) to save time. Think about what this adventure requires: your attention (listen to the instructor), calmness (nothing will happen, everything is super reliable — professional equipment; constant equipment and scaffolding checks, employee training, friendly professional staff). 3 The receptionist (we had Charles) checks your reservation and agreement. Go to the toilet before you start, as it is not possible to do so on the routes at height.
4 You get a stamp on your hand (which routes you can take). We had Junior (6 routes).
5 A super professional checks your equipment and puts on the professional harness himself and adjusts it to your figure (we had an employee named Khalid) We liked him very much, he checked everything and tightened it as needed (our child is thin, so this was important to us). We are very grateful to him. After the adventure (helmets are treated and other equipment is thoroughly checked)
6 professional instructors are always ready to help (instructors speak different languages — English, French, Luxembourgish). We had Max (a super hero who made our adventure unforgettable). He explained everything clearly several times. There is an opportunity to try out the entire system not at height but on the ground and see how a person copes and behaves.
7 Instructors help you choose a route (easy or more difficult), advise, prompt, and explain several times. When we were there, there were many instructors, and everyone helped if help was needed. Max was a great help! He removed the alarm and explained several times. There were cases when children or adults needed help (children were hanging—they were removed in a matter of minutes, but mainly this was due to disregard for the rules, inattention, and the desire to do everything faster... Such behavior is not appropriate for this park. Our child managed on his own (if help was needed) and listened to the instructor from the ground. Our child completed 4 out of 6 routes in almost 3 hours. By the end, he was feeling tired, so we finished at around 2:30-3:00 p.m. and did not continue, even though there was still time.
9 Then the staff themselves remove the equipment from you and put it aside for inspection and processing.
10 We were very satisfied with the organization and the staff: their reliability and friendliness. We bought ice cream. Drinks (available at the reception).
Huge thanks to everyone (and the Steinfort community), we hope to see you again. A small request: please make it possible (for a separate fee and by appointment) to hire a...
Read moreMy daughter was scared of heights (we didn't know before this experience). A staff member accompanied her so she was able to move further along the path. When she got too scared, they brought her down savely. I couldn't thus do any further paths, but the first one I completed and I liked it very much. There is a really low altitude path for the youngsters that we went on to do but you really didn't need all the safety equipment for that one as it was just above ground. For first time users an intermediate height...
Read moreA bit sad that they didn't allow me to do the activities since i didn't know about the reservation (the outdated Lux guide didn't warn about it).
They were polite and allowed us to hike around.
Very beautiful and quiet place.
They gave us no alternative to it, and although understandable, they didn't have many people in.
If you like nature Iland pass by I recommend you to at least go for a walk. My friend and I really enjoyed the hike...
