On the other hand, in the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland, the word "walking" is acceptable to describe all forms of walking, whether it is a walk in the park or backpacking in the Alps. The word hiking is also often used in the UK, along with rambling (a slightly old-fashioned term), hillwalking, and fell walking (a term mostly used for hillwalking in northern England). Read moreMiri Public Park is a very attractive destination to visit, especially with the uniqueness of the suspension bridge, which is one of the main attractions here. This is quite a nice public park with a few things to keep you occupied for a few hours or so. Check out the replica of the Grand Old Lady where you can head to the viewing platform and get quite a good view of the park and the surrounding areas. There’s also a suspension bridge next to it that is quite fun! Fun = the bridge bounces a bit but feels quite safe and secure. The bridge is quite high up and takes you over the mini water park area and to the other side of the park. And then, there’s a nice eating area with several restaurants to choose from (Halal and non-Halal food are available).
Tip: There’s an emergency box located in the car park area. It’s monitored 24/7, has CCTV cameras and direct connection to...
