1st time trying the restaurant here nearby hiltop..
The atmosphere is good.. because the restaurant is using yellow/orange light which can prevent the irritating mosquito.. smart idea..
My food was serve very fast because I made reservation...the portion was big..
Sultan Fish 4/5 - (I bring my own fish) the charge rm25 only.. price and method of cooking still acceptable.. the most notable is my fish.. fatty meat yum yum..
Midin / Mani Chai / 4 Kings / Bittergrout - 4/5 - not bad.. i personally think it's more to healthier style..depends how you order
Honey Pork rib 2/5 - although very easy to chew.. less bone and very fatty part were given. taste so so only
SAMBAL sotong 3/5 - the sambal not really nice.. but the sotong as usual.. Nice and good cut.. won't too thin
Deer meat 3/5 - Good for children.. because the deer meet slice very thick.. taste soso only.. not enough "spice" I supposed..
12 persons including 3 kids makan... rm371 (own sultan Fish 2kg, rm400++)
Plenty of parking.. but have to careful because the parking compound is quite dark although within the restaurant...

Places get crowded around 7 and the servers are very busy taking and serving orders so it can get a bit rowdy.
Food is pretty decent and value for money if you are going in large groups but nothing much to shout about. Normal Chinese cuisine. Did see that many other patrons were ordering some sort of a assam/curry freshwater fish though.
They do serve really fresh coconuts too if you’re into that. They laid them out on the floor in the middle of the restaurant maybe as a highlight item.
Also noticed a small stall tucked in the corner but it’s closed. My guess is that during daytime they open up to serve a smaller crowd.
Interesting point The owners have built a house just next to the restaurant so I guess it’s considered...

The chicken, not tender at all, dry and it doesn’t taste fresh (probably frozen for too long in the fridge).
Overall the dishes here are pretty salty but they are all delicious except the lemon chicken. Do think twice before bringing your parents who have hypertension to dine here.
The waiter who served us wasn’t good at recommending dishes. She just stood there and say nothing until we decided a dish. 🙂
We spent around RM120 for five dishes and i think it is worth the...
