Located within the compounds of the Taman Awam Miri, this seafood restaurant is nestled amongst several restaurants vying for your patronage. The food here wasn’t too bad and the wait wasn’t too long either. We tried the fish head ‘asam kari’ (curry with a hint of sourness from the assam), curried cuttlefish (dry), midin (jungle fern) and bite-sized fried chicken. Slightly disappointed with the fish dish; the fish was great but the sauce/broth was a bit watery and bland. Overall, it’s an ok experience.

This place has really good food. One of the few seafood shops here. When we came, it was the weekend, it was quite packed, and that's a good thing since it shows locals love this place. We ordered the food, rice with a few dishes, and it must have taken like 30 mins to 45 minutes before the food arrived. We had the fried ferns Midin, which was light, flavorful and crunchy. We also had the deep fried pork which was crispy and very succulent. The asam fish head was really good and it was flavored with salted vegetables which gave the sour taste. Very unique. And we had the fried squid which was fresh and good. All items were fresh and delicious....
