Arrived in Penang after a good 06 hours drive from Singapore. Settle down in hotel and we are on our way for durian hunt. Keyed in the location and off we go with the help of Google map. Took us an other 1 hour twist and turn around balik palau
Took a small climb onto the hill to durian tree house. Carpark is small that can only hold up to 5 - 6 vehicles at one time. We manage to squeeze into the tight space and away from obstructing the traffic.
We ordered 1 pc black thorn, 1 pc musang king and 1 pc XO. The owner told us only the musang king and XO is bitter taste whereas the black thorn is more towards to the sweeter note.
The scenery was fantastic overlooked the entire Penang island. It was beautiful and delicious experience. The durian was good and we really had our full. Cost us a total RM 250 for all 03 durian + 01 MSK takeaway.

I had an incredible time visiting Durian Tree House for a durian feast! The farm not only offered top-quality, freshly harvested durians but also provided outstanding service that made the whole experience even better.
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about durians. They took the time to explain the different varieties, helped us pick the best fruits, and even gave us tips on how to enjoy them properly. What impressed me the most was their honesty—they didn’t push for expensive choices and even advised us on the best value-for-money options.
The durians were perfectly ripe, creamy, and bursting with flavor. You can tell they prioritize quality over quantity here. The farm itself was clean and well-maintained, adding to the pleasant atmosphere.
If you’re looking for an authentic durian experience with great service and no gimmicks, this is the place to go! I’ll definitely be back for more. Highly...
Read moreNot worth the try go elsewhere, I had a terrible experience at this durian store. The owner was dishonest. I ordered three durians, and while choosing my Musang King, he forced me to take the biggest one (over 2kg). The durian was wet and flavorless. Even the owner admitted it was bad and replaced it, but only with two small pieces instead of a whole durian.
The replacement pieces had burnt seeds. Another durian I ordered was also taken back and replaced with two small pieces of burnt seed Musang King. When I asked for cempedak, he cut it in half. In the end, I bought three durians but only received a bit more than one durian’s worth of edible fruit, all with burnt...
