Ah Boon Otak-Otak — Attraction in Johor

Went to buy again on 6-May-2023. It has been my favorite otak2 for so many years. We are coming all the way from Klang. unfortunately, this time otak2, not as delicious as b4. We bought fish otak tat packed in pcs n packs. Price increases, but i can understand bcos the market, but this round fish meat is reduced to 60%-70%, too much flour is added in, and not enough spicy. I'm so disappointed. You lost your customers because of your dishonest in doing your business. This is not the way to do business. If the market doesn't have fish, make less, sell less better than disappointed your customers. So we are not going to buy from u in the future. Thanks for serving us with your best otak...

First time trying this otak-otak.

RM1.10 for a stick which is very reasonable price. Not that spicy , full of flavour. 10/10

Bought 10box (RM9) back to KL. Tried , found that is powdery texture. Not smooth and lesser fish chunk. Perhaps let me review again on the second box after makan. 5/10 for now.

This located in a residential area, beware of the tinny corner which you may stick there with another opposition car. Uncle is keep bakar the otak-otak which no interaction between. Serviced by a worker.

If you come to Muar and said you eat the great otak-otak without visiting this stall, you're insane! This stall's otak-otak has good balance of fish and spices. That means, I can eat it straight after cooking without needing to cook with rice or bread. A lot of otak-otak have too much spices and they serve more like a flavor paste for cooking.
