I visited Angsana Mall during the Hari Raya period and was blown away by the festive atmosphere! The mall was beautifully decorated with colorful lights, lanterns, and traditional Malay decorations.
The mall offered a wide range of Hari Raya-themed activities, including traditional dance performances, cultural exhibitions, and even a bazaar selling traditional Malay clothing and accessories.
The food court was also filled with delicious Hari Raya treats, including ketupat, rendang, and other traditional Malay dishes.
What impressed me most was the mall's effort to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all visitors, regardless of their cultural background.
Overall, Angsana Mall is a must-visit destination during Hari Raya. The festive atmosphere, cultural activities, and delicious food make it a wonderful place to celebrate this special occasion with family...
Read moreAngsana mall is a 15 minute car ride from the JB causeway checkpoint. On Monday, the mall is not overly crowded and is enjoyable to walk. There are a lot of clothing options, and Mr DIY and Mr Dollar. Nice to grab things for home.
At the basement, there is this “Sue’s Home Bakers Enterprise”. I bought one bottle of Ondeh ondeh tarts, and they are really delicious; fragrant at first bite, and not overwhelmingly sweet. The aunty was very friendly, but the younger lady seemed a bit tired today. Maybe she’s having a bad day. One bottle for 32RM. If you don’t mind spending a bit more than what the neighbouring shops offer, I can recommend this.
Only note that the ”Richeese Factory” is not something I would recommend. The price is a little high for the quality of the food, and the flavours are a bit too bizarre for me. Just personal tastes.
Overall had a good time...

The mall has undergone a revamp since then and is brightly lit, with strong air-conditioning throughout. There is a Mr DIY, Parkson department store (check out the clearance section for some good deals like RM 1 to 3 kitchen plates etc), various Muslim attire shops, a carpet store, Seasons bakery, Stars & Co crepe, a bowling alley, a leg reflexology outlet, a Hero Market supermarket and multiple food outlets, cafes etc on the ground floor.
The variety of stores is a nice change from what you see in REIT malls like Midvalley Southkey, Toppen Mall and so on. Made me feel as if I was in City Square in Batam, Indonesia - the vibe was something like this
Carpark is now cashless - Touch N Go is paid for...
