My in-laws, my wife and I were in Kluang, Johor earlier today; we attended one of our relative’s wedding reception in the said town. Since we don’t usually come to this part of Malaysia too often, we decided to do a bit of exploring after attending the wedding reception.
From the research conducted (read: googling), a lot of people recommended visiting Kluang Coffee Factory, specifically the ‘Televisyen’ brand. And so, we went there.
Full disclosure: personally, I’m not a coffee drinker. But I do love visiting places where I can learn new things. My in-laws and my wife? They drink coffee, and they also like to learn new things AND buy souvenirs whenever they visited a place. Kluang Coffee Factory ticks all the right boxes.
Visitors may request a guided tour of the facility and learn how the company produce their products. During our session, we were guided by Ms. Zurina a.k.a. Kak Ina who provided us with a brief history of the company and its products, as well as explaining the coffee-making process. I’ve visited many a place like this, and it’s always great to see friendly tour guides who know their stuffs like Kak Ina. The company should give her a raise or a job promotion, I reckon.
Apart from touring the facility, visitors may savour some of their products at The Kopi Factory (their in-house cafe). What if you fancy the taste and decided to have them as part of your daily diet? Fret not, as you can buy them at their store, which is located right next to the said cafe.
Overall, we had a pleasant and enjoyable experience at Kluang Coffee Factory; I would highly recommend people to visit this place whenever they’re in...

The smell of roasting beans filled the air—hard to resist. We tried their free 3-in-1 coffee… overly sweet, definitely not our thing. . So we rescued our taste buds with a proper hot latte (RM8.90). Much better. . Then came the almond tiramisu (RM12.90)—topped with shimmering gold jelly. Soft, light, and delicate. . ☕ How’s the coffee overall? Bitter. Not our kind of brew. So we skipped the souvenirs. . Will we come again? Yes—when bringing friends who’ve never been to Kluang. . Would we recommend it? Absolutely—for coffee lovers, first-timers, and anyone who enjoys free coffee, free biscuits, and lots of photogenic corners to leave your...
Read moreordered a traditional kopi O kosong and a latte. Initially latte WITHOUT milk ( aka long black) was served as a mistake
That was fine as mistake by human being is acceptable. However when the new cup of latte come ,the latte was too diluted ( I suspect they used back the long back and add on fresh milk) because it wasn’t taste like 100% arabica latte at all but taste like espresso + water + milk 🥲
After I realized there was something wrong with the latte, I approached the staff and ask is this latte or the wrongly served cup was used to top up with milk but the staff insisted it was 100% coffee only with milk.
If the said statement is true, kindly investigate the standard and quality of the latte serve by Kluang Coffee factory. Please kindly consider to compensate me or refund me RM 7.90 due to the unsatisfactory latte served.
The experience was so so...
