Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir is one of the most beautiful and tranquil natural places you can visit in Kuala Lumpur. It's an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation, a walk, or exercise surrounded by nature. What distinguishes this park is its strategic location close to the city center, yet at the same time, it offers a peaceful environment away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The park is beautifully designed with a wide lake surrounded by paved and clean walking paths, making it ideal for walking, jogging, or even cycling. The lush green trees provide a sense of tranquility, and the fresh air is refreshing. There are also designated seating and rest areas, some of which are covered and suitable for families or the elderly.
One of the most beautiful moments in the park is sunset, when the golden rays of the sun reflect off the surface of the lake, creating a magical scene worthy of a photo. The place is also very suitable for families, with open spaces for children to play safely, in addition to the availability of restrooms and parking spaces nearby.
Safety and cleanliness are among the most noticeable features of Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir. The park is regularly maintained, and littering is minimal thanks to visitor commitment and the availability of sufficient trash bins. Clear signage also helps visitors navigate the area easily.
Overall, Taman Tasik Ampang Hilir is an ideal place to relax, exercise, or even contemplate nature. I highly recommend a visit, whether you're a resident of Kuala Lumpur or a tourist looking for a quiet moment amidst stunning natural...
Read moreFor a park in a tropical country like Malaysia, this place has far too few trees. In the blistering midday sun, the more shade the better. Instead they chose short decorative trees with barely any cover, and a walk with your friends will leave you lightly toasted by the end of it all. The lake has a pretty interesting story. An old mining pond that was visited by local fishing enthusiasts before being covered by some sort of lotus, after the renovation and building of the surrounding park it has had a facelift. Tortoises (or turtles/terrapins, I do not know the difference) call it home, and you can find a few basking on rocks or swimming about. The lake does have a few drains emptying its waste into the main body of water, so I would not recommend any watersports, if there are any; there is a jetty and a few years ago there were paddle-boats. A hall can be rented out for events although the parking lot is quite small. There is an open-air restaurant, although I have not tried the drinks there. The park...

For those who likes watching evening sky while sunsetting TTAH is the place. Though fishing is prohibited, proaches still sneak and cast their catching lines or netting whenever the officer guarding is not around. Besides green recreational areas which coves the lake, a community hall is also available nearby. Normally badminton enthusiasts occupied the this hall and weekends most cummunal functions takes place such as wedding receptions and other events deems suitable from time to time with a minimal rates.
